Tato práce si klade za cíl zhodnotit soutěžní návrhy pomníku Jana Žižky na pražském Vítkově. První část textu se zaobírá zasazením do společensko-historických souvislostí, tedy rolí husitského hejtmana pro českou národní identitu na počátku 20. století, a okolnostmi vzniku samotné myšlenky postavení pomníku, ze které přirozeně vyplynulo založení Spolku pro zbudování pomníku Jana Žižky. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to valorize competitive projects of Jan Žižka's Monument on the Vítkov hill.
