Abstract:

Diplomová práce sestává ze dvou částí, praktické a výzkumné. Dokumentuje komplexní restaurátorský zásah na vymezeném úseku renesanční sgrafitové fasády na II. nádvoří státního zámku Litomyšl. Vymezený úsek se nachází při pravém okraji středního pásu a je součástí výjevu Bitva u Milvijského mostu. Dokumentace zahrnuje jak uměleckohistorický a restaurátorský průzkum, tak i koncepci a samotný restaurátorský zásah. Textová část je navíc doplněna o obrazové a grafické přílohy. Výzkumná část práce se zaměřuje na komplexní průzkum v současné době dostupných, akrylátových disperzí a hodnocení jejich využitelnosti v oblasti restaurování historických omítek. Disperze byly na základě analýzy trhu a stanovených kritérií selektovány do skupin vhodných pro restaurátorské použití, se zvláštním důrazem na jejich konsolidační účinek. Do výběru byly zahrnuty také akrylátové disperze s přídavkem biosložky, které jsou prozatím v experimentální fázi vývoje a reprezentují novou, vůči životnímu prostředí šetrnější, alternativu ropných akrylátů. Zvolené produkty byly následně laboratorně testovány s cílem porovnat jejich chování, účinnost a klíčové vlastnosti při konsolidaci degradované vápenné omítky a vyhodnotit jejich praktickou využitelnost v restaurování.

Abstract:

The thesis consists of two parts, practical and research. It documents a complex restoration intervention on a defined section of the Renaissance sgraffito facade in the second courtyard of the State Chateau Litomyšl. The defined section is located in the central belt with the scene of the Battle of the Milvian Bridge, in its right edge part. The documentation includes an art-historical and restoration survey and the concept and restoration intervention itself. In addition, the text part is supplemented by photographic and graphic appendices. The research part of the thesis focuses on a comprehensive survey of currently available acrylic dispersions and an evaluation of their suitability for use in the restoration of historic plaster. Based on market analysis and established criteria, the dispersions were selected into groups suitable for restoration use, with particular emphasis on their consolidating effect. The selection also included acrylic dispersions with added bio-components, which are currently in the experimental phase of development and represent a new, more environmentally friendly alternative to petroleum-based acrylics. The selected products were subsequently tested in the laboratory to compare their behavior, effectiveness, and key properties in the consolidation of degraded lime plaster and to evaluate their practical applicability in restoration.
