Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Yield management: plánování kapacit ve službách“ je využití metod yield managementu v hotelnictví. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty poznatky o yield managementu, pojem, historie, metody a jeho využití. V praktické části je jedna z metod yield managementu aplikována na hotel Tennis Club s cílem zvýšit počet nabízené ubytovací kapacity způsobem, který bude pro hotel ekonomicky výhodný. V závěru diplomové práce jsou uvedena doporučení pro úspěšné zavedení yield managementu v hotelu.

Abstract:

The objective of diploma thesis named “Yield management: a capacity planning in service industry” is the use of yield management methods in hotel industry. Findings about yield management concept, history, methods and applications are summarized in the theoretical part. In the practical part, there is one of the methods of yield management applied to the Hotel Tennis Club to increase the number of offered vacancies in a way that is economically advantageous for the hotel. Recommendations for successful implementation of yield management in hotel are mentioned at the end of the thesis.
