Usage of therapeutic material in speech and language intervention for patients in the initial stage of aphasia

Anotace:

Cílem této diplomové práce je vytvoření a ověření souboru materiálů vhodných pro terapii afázie v iniciální fázi onemocnění. Teoretická část diplomové práce je zaměřena na teoretická východiska fatických poruch, jejich příčiny a možnosti rehabilitace neurologických pacientů v akutní a subakutní fázi onemocnění. Teorie se dále věnuje afázii a dalším fatickým poruchám, jejich symptomům a možnostem diagnostiky. Nosná část teoretické práce se zaměřuje na terapii afázie v iniciálním stádiu onemocnění. Praktická část diplomové práce se věnuje ověřování materiálu na základě pozorování přímé práce pacienta a klinického logopeda, popřípadě práce pacienta s komunikačním partnerem pod vedením klinického logopeda. Kvalitativní výzkum představují tři případové studie pacientů mužského pohlaví s fatickou poruchou. Hlavní cíl výzkumného šetření je analýza problematiky terapie afázie v iniciální fázi onemocnění.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is creation and verification of the material that is used for treatment of aphasia in the acute stage of the disease. Firstly, the theoretical part is focuses on the theoretical base of language disorders, as well as their causes and possibilities of rehabilitation in the acute and subacute phase of disease. The theory also deals with aphasia and other language disorders, their symptoms and diagnostics. The main part of theory is focused on therapy of aphasia in the acute stage of disease. The practical part of diploma thesis deals with the verification of material based on direct observation of work of patient and speech therapist or work of patient and his conversation partner directed by speech therapist. Qualitative research is represented by three case studies of male patients with language disorder. The main aim of the research is the analyzation of the aphasia therapy in the initial stage of disease.
