Abstract:

Ve své práci „Muslimské organizace v Německu, Rakousku a Švýcarsku“ jsem se zaměřil na význam náboženství jako identifikačního prvku při integraci do západních společností. Cílem bylo zjistit, jak mohou náboženské aktivity muslimských organizací přispívat k integraci svých členů a ke komunikaci mezi příslušníky různých národností (Němci a Turci apod.). V zásadě jde o to, zda náboženské aktivity a integrační snahy mají společné cíle a tedy se navzájem podporují. V první kapitole jsem věnoval pozornost vysvětlení používané terminologie. Bylo potřeba zdůraznit přítomnost sekularizovaných „gastarbeitrů“. Na jejich příkladě se ukázal problém stanovová měřitelných hledisek a hranice, kdo je ještě aktivní muslim. S ohledem na tuto skutečnost jsem se zaobíral určitou výsečí muslimské populace žijící v Německu, Rakousku a Švýcarsku. V druhé, třetí části své disertační práce jsem se věnoval historickému přehledu, který zmapoval příchod a etablování muslimského obyvatelstva na území Německa, Rakouska a Švýcarska. Vývoj ve všech oblastech vykázal zajímavé shody a rozdíly, které umožnily postupné srovnání. Vedle toho jsem se věnoval integračním otázkám výstavby mešit, výuky islámu na státních školách nebo budování hřbitovů. Konkrétně se tedy ve druhé až čtvrté části doktorské disertace jednalo o srovnání jednotlivých typů misie v Německu, Rakousku a Švýcarsku. Vedle určitého nadhledu, který umožňuje soustředění se na více států s jejich konkrétními situacemi na poli náboženského života, jsem viděl zajímavý přínos v tázání po možných odlišnostech vztahu jednotlivých společností k islámským aktivistům vycházejících z historického vývoje dosavadních náboženských poměrů. Těmito otázkami jsem se zabýval v jednotlivých podkapitolách věnovaných mezináboženskému dialogu mezi muslimy a křesťany v Německu, Rakousku a Švýcarsku.

Abstract:

This dissertation "Muslim Organizations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland" is focused on the importance of religion as an identification element in integration to Western society. The aim was to determine how the religious activities of Muslim organisations can contribute to the integration of its members and to communication between members of various nationalities (Germans and Turks, etc.). In principle the dissertation deals with an issue whether the religious activities and integration efforts have common objectives and whether they support each other. In the first chapter I paid atten-tion to the explanation of the used terminology. It was necessary to emphasize the presence of secular-ized immigrants whose reason for leaving the country was work. Their example showed the problem of determination of measurable aspects and limits who is still an active Muslim. With regard to this fact I dealt with a particular part of Muslim population living in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In the second and the third chapter of my dissertation I wrote a historical overview that describes immi-gration and establishment of Muslim population on the territory of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The development in all areas showed interesting equalities and differences that allowed the successive comparison. In addition, I attended to integration issues of construction of mosques, teaching Islam at national schools or building cemeteries. Specifically, the second, third and fourth part of the doctoral dissertation deals with a comparison of different types of mission in Germany, Austria and Switzer-land. Besides seeing the problem more pespectively which allows focusing on more states with their specific situations in the field of religious life I saw an interesting contribution in asking about possi-ble differences in relations of particular societies to Islamic activists based on historical development of religious circumstances. I attended to these issues in particular subchapters dedicated to inter-religious dialogue between Muslims and Christians in Germany, Austria and. Switzerland.
