Communication between medical personnel and women with impaired fertility

Abstract:

Předložená práce se zabývá komunikací mezi zdravotníky a ženami s poruchou plodnosti. Teoretická část vysvětluje například pojmy asistovaná reprodukce, sterilita, infertilita, metody asistované reprodukce a osvojení. Dále uvádí náležitosti správné konzultace, s důrazem na komunikaci a vztah mezi pacientem-lékařem, zdravotní sestrou/porodní asistentkou. Práce je zpracována metodou kvalitativního výzkumu, formou případové studie. Praktická část je pak založena na analýze výpovědí respondentek, které byly léčeny v centru asistované reprodukce v Čechách nebo na Moravě.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the communication between medical personnel and women with impaired fertility. The theoretical part explains for example assisted reproduction, sterility, infertility, methods of assisted reproduction and adoption. It also mentions requirements of the right consultation with focus on communication and the relationship between patient and the doctor, nurse / midwife. The study is written up by a qualitative research method, form of case studie. The practical part is based on analysis of answer of the respondents, who were treated at the centre for assisted reproduction in Bohemia or Moravia.
