Typology of dramatic work of Ivan Klíma

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na klasifikaci dramatických děl Ivana Klímy s využitím sémantické teorie fikčních světů. Její první část se soustředí na historické okolnosti vzniku Klímových her, jejich žánrové zařazení, identifikaci nejvýznamnějších vlivů a na definování jeho autorské poetiky. Druhá část představuje vlastní typologii fikčních světů a dramatických postav, které strukturují Klímovo dramatické dílo jako celek. V závěru jsou pak analytické možnosti tohoto konceptu prověřeny v sérii detailních rozborů a interpretací všech Klímových dramat.

Abstract:

This work is focusing on classification of dramatic works of Ivan Klíma by using the semantic theory of fictional worlds. Its first part is concentrating on historical events that had influenced the origins of Klíma's plays, their genre classification, identification of the most significant effects and on defining the author's poetics. The second part is introducing the typology of fictional worlds and dramatic characters, which are structurizing Klíma's dramatic work as a whole. At the end all analytic capabilities of this concept are tested in a series of detailed analyses and interpretations of all Klíma's dramatic plays.
