Abstract:

Krejčová, S. Dark tourism: motivace a percepce návštěvníků vybraných destinací. Bakalářská práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2021. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá motivací a percepcí návštěvníků vybraných destinací. Cílem práce bylo pomocí dotazníkového šetření zjistit hlavní motivaci k návštěvě vybraných památek dark tourismu – temného cestovního ruchu. Dílčím cílem bylo zjištění vnímání destinace návštěvníkem v kontextu její image. Šetření proběhlo u memoriálu 11. září v New Yorku, u domu Anny Frankové v Amsterdamu a v koncentračním táboře v Terezíně. V literární části práce je uvedena literární rešerše týkající se jak obecného cestovního ruchu, destinace a marketingu v destinaci, tak i temného cestovního ruchu. V praktické části jsou popsány jednotlivé destinace šetření a jsou zde prezentovány i výsledky dotazníků. Bylo zjištěno, že nejčastějšími motivacemi pro návštěvu jsou uctění památky, vzdělání/poznání a zvědavost. Také bylo zjištěno, že jednotlivé památky dark tourismu značně ovlivňují image destinace.

This bachelor thesis deals with motivation and perception of visitors of selected destinations. The aim of this work was to find out through a questionnaire survey the main motivation for a visit of selected dark tourism sights. The secondary aim was dedicated to a finding of visitor’s perception of the destination in the context of its image. The surveying took place at the 9/11 Memorial in New York, by the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, and at the concentration camp in Terezín. In the literature part of the work a literature recherche can be found that is dedicated to generic tourism, destination, marketing of destination, but also dark tourism. In the practical part, the destinations are described, and the survey outcomes are presented. It was found out that the main motivations for a visit are remembrance, education/knowledge, and curiosity. It was also found that sights of dark tourism play a significant role in the image of destination.
