Education and the Educational System and its Connection to the Labor Market in the Moravian-Silesian Region

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je vzdělávání a vzdělávací soustava a jejich vztah s trhem práce v Moravskoslezském kraji. V práci je proveden rozbor vzdělávací soustavy a trhu práce v Moravskoslezském kraji. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda současný stav vzdělávací soustavy v MSK má návaznost na uplatnění uchazečů na trhu práce a zda existuje vztah mezi nabídkou práce a současnou strukturou absolventů v MSK. V bakalářské práci byly použity metody kvantitativního výzkumu. Hlavní metody sběru dat vycházely z obecně teoretických přístupů analýzy, syntézy a komparace dat, které byly získány z dostupné odborné literatury. Dále byla provedena korelační analýza mezi ukazateli vzdělání (počty absolventů dle dosaženého vzdělání) a trhu práce (nabídkou na trhu práce dle dosaženého vzdělání). Analýza vývoje a současného stavu trhu práce a vzdělanostní struktury obyvatelstva MSK, doplněná korelační analýzou mezi nabídkou na trhu práce dle dosaženého vzdělání v MSK a počty absolventů dle dosaženého vzdělání naznačuje, že nabídka práce optimálně nenavazuje na strukturu absolventů jednotlivých stupňů vzdělání. Práce přináší ucelenou analýzu současného stavu vzdělání obyvatelstva, strukturu vzdělávací soustavy a její vazbu na trh práce v Moravskoslezském kraji, která může přispět k efektivnějšímu řešení v rámci plánované transformace regionu zaměřeného na podporu přeměny někdejších uhelných regionů včetně MSK.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is education and the educational system and their relationship with the labour market in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The thesis analyses the educational system and the labour market in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether the current state of the educational system in the Moravian-Silesian Region is related to the employment of candidates on the labour market and whether there is a relationship between labour supply and the current structure of graduates in the Moravian-Silesian Region. In the bachelor thesis quantitative research methods were used. The main data collection methods were based on general theoretical approaches of data analysis, synthesis and comparison, which were obtained from the available literature. In addition, a correlation analysis between the selected education and labour market indica-tors was conducted. The analysis of the development and current state of the labour market and the educational structure of the population of the Moravian-Silesian Region, supple-mented by a correlation analysis between the labour market supply by educational attain-ment in the Moravian-Silesian Region and the number of graduates by educational attain-ment, indicates that the labour supply does not optimally follow the structure of graduates of each educational level. The paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of education of the population, the structure of the education system and its link to the labour market in the Moravian-Silesian Region, which can contribute to a more effective solution within the planned transformation of the region, aimed at supporting the transfor-mation of former coal regions, including Moravian-Silesian Region.
