Design of a log splitter mechanism

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je návrh mechanismu štípačky na dřevo. Na začátek textu je shrnut pohled na trh a vysvětleny důvody pro uplatnění tohoto stroje. Dále je uveden průzkum známého stavu techniky v dané oblasti, rozdělení štípaček do několika hlavních kategorií a podkategorií, do nichž spadá i rozdělení na štípačky mechanické a hydraulické a uvedení hlavních výhod a nevýhod jednotlivých řešení. Druhá kapitola se již zaměřuje pouze na samotný návrh a výpočet štípačky mechanické, jejíž parametry jsou zadány. Výpočet je orientován především na prvky pohonu, včetně jednotlivých součástí mechanismu, které jsou stěžejní z důvodu koncepce a funkčnosti stroje, jako například návrh třecí spojky a setrvačníku. V poslední části je obsaženo finanční zhodnocení na výrobu zařízení. V rámci práce byl také vytvořen model sestavy a výkresy vybraných součástí.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to design a log splitter mechanism. At the be-ginning of the work there is a summary of the current state on the economic market and explained the reasons for the use of this tool. Next there is the research of the known state of the technics in this area, separating the log splitters into main categories and subcate-gories, this also includes the separating of the log splitters into the mechanic and hydraulic categories and giving the main advantages and disadvantages of each solution. The se-cond chapter is only focused on the design itself and the calculations of the mechanical log splitter, shown in the parameters given. The calculation is oriented mainly on the elements of the drive, inclueding individual parts of the mechanics, which are important for the conceptual reason and the functionality of the tool, for example as the friction clutch and flywheel. In the last part the financial costs of production are shown. This study also includes 3D models and part drawings.
