Causes and consequences of floods in the Příbram region
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou povodní ve městě Příbram, které se nachází ve Středočeském kraji. Práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku příčin a důsledků povodní v daném městě. Dále jsou zhodnocena současná protipovodňová opatření, následovaná vlastními návrhy na zlepšení současného stavu s cílem minimalizovat škody způsobené povodní.
Abstract:
The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of floods in the city of Příbram, which is located in the Central Bohemian Region. The work is focused on the characteristics of the causes and consequences of floods in the city. Furthermore, the current flood protection measures are evaluated, followed by own proposals to improve the current situation in order to minimize the damage caused by floods.
