Tato diplomová práce pojednává o obecní policii, tedy o orgánu obce, jehož hlavním úkolem je zabezpečování místních záležitostí veřejného pořádku. V úvodní části je nastíněn systém veřejné správy v České republice, zařazena obecní policie do tohoto systému a rovněž jsou objasněny stěžejní pojmy, jež s danou problematikou souvisejí. This dissertation deals with municipal police as a municipal body whose primary task is to ensure the public order in the municipality. The first part is concerned with the system of the public administration in the Czech Republic and the cardinal terms relating to this issue are clarified.
