Discount Servers in the Sphere of Spa and Vellness Services

Abstract:

Cílem práce je analyzovat klady, zápory a aktuální situaci v oblasti lázeňských a wellness pobytů a služeb nabízených prostřednictvím tzv. slevomatů na českém trhu. Práce by měla zejména poodhalit důvody, proč by se měla či neměla lázeňská a wellness zařízení účastnit nabídky slevových serverů a jaké z toho plynou výhody či nevýhody. Nejde o obecné doporučení, zda využívat tohoto kanálu k prodeji služeb, ale spíše v jakých situacích je kanál vhodný a jaká očekávání nemůže naplnit. Provozovatelé zařízení nabízející lázeňské a wellness pobyty by se po přečtení práce měli zorientovat na tomto poli a udělat si jasný obrázek o tom, kdy jejich kolegové využití slevového serveru ocenili, co od nabídky očekávali, a naopak ve kterých aspektech selhává. Záměrem je rovněž upozornit na možná úskalí, které s využitím slevových serverů v oblasti ubytovacích kapacit souvisí.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to analyze advantages and disadvantages and current situation in the area of spa and wellness stays and services advertised on the deal-of-the-day portals in the Czech market. The essay should primarily reveal the reasons, why to participate in the offers of the discount portals and what are the advantages and disadvantages connected with the cooperation. The analysis focuses on situations, when this trade channel is appropriate and when not, rather than general recommendations. Service operators offering this type of services should find the valuable information about the area and familiarize with the experiences of their colleagues from the same branch. The goal is to point out also difficulties connected with this approach.
