The Beginnings of Shakespeare's Adoption in The German and Czech Literature
Abstract:
The main theme of this study is the entrance of Shakespeare into Czech and German literature. The first chapter describes the initial steps of Shakespeare from England to Europe, the importance of English actors and their traveling acting companies. Tématem práce jsou počátky přijetí Shakespeara do německé a české literatury. V první kapitole jsou popsány první kroky Shakespeara z Anglie do celé Evropy, důležitost anglických kočovných společností a jejich herců.
