Theme of fine art and reflexion of the cultural activity in Luhačovice written in weekly periodical Spa's bulletin of Luhačovice between 1935 - 1938

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se věnuje analýze Lázeňského zpravodaje luhačovského, který vznikl z oblíbené kulturní revue Luhačovské listy lázeňské. Předmětem zkoumání jsou doposud nezpracované ročníky 1935–1938. Autorka se v první části práce zaměřuje na zpracování umělecké tematiky zpravodaje, zahrnující výtvarnou, grafickou a literární složku. V druhé části práce se zabývá podrobnou reflexí kulturního dění v Luhačovicích, tak jak jej reflektoval zpravodaj. Cílem práce, je kromě zpracování umělecké tematiky periodika i nalezení již zapomenutých událostí a připomenutí si významných osobností, na které není v jiných publikacích kladen dostatečný důraz, nebo na ně již nezbyl prostor.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis analyzes a bulletin called “Lázeňský zpravodaj luhačovský” which evolved from a favourite cultural revue “Luhačovské listy lázeňské”. The work focuses on years 1935–1938 which have not been analyzed yet. In the first part, the author of the thesis focuses on compiling artistic subjects of the bulletin including its visual, graphic and literary components. The following part of the thesis deals with a thorough reflection of cultural events in the town of Luhačovice as reflected by the bulletin. Apart from a compilation of artistic subjects of the periodical and finding the events already forgotten, the thesis aims at reminding important figures, which are often omitted or whose importance is underestimated.
