Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Analýza přínosů projektu SEPA“ se zaměřila na aktuální problematiku v oblasti bankovnictví na úrovni Evropské unie, kterou je „Jednotný evropský platební prostor“. Svého významu tato práce nabývá hlavně díky komplexnímu, chronologicky a systematicky uspořádanému pohledu na danou problematiku. Může tedy posloužit zejména odborné veřejnosti jako rychlý, ale poměrně informačně hluboký úvod do problematiky projektu SEPA v mnoha souvislostech. Hlavní nosnou metodou při její tvorbě byla deskripce následována dedukcí a komparativní analýzou. První část se pomocí deskripce věnuje historii vzniku bezhotovostního platebního styku. Následuje samotný projekt SEPA, v celé šíři projektového řízení, od samotného návrhu až k jeho prozatím parciální realizaci. Ve třetí části je pohled na ty nejvýznamnější bankovní systémy používané v rámci EU, jejich aktuální stav a predikce budoucího vývoje. V analytické části práce je k dispozici unikátní pohled přes komparativní analýzu dopadů tohoto projektu podle nadnárodního softwarového giganta Oracle versus PricewaterhauseCoopers, jakožto nadnárodní auditorské společnosti patřící do tzv. „Velké čtyřky“. Závěr shrnul přínosy a dopady projektu SEPA na jednotlivé segmenty trhu uživatel a dodavatelů platebních služeb v EU.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis called „The analysis of SEPA project contribution“ focuses on actual problems in banking area on the level of the European Union, which is „Single Euro Payment Area“. The value of this work is acquired thanks to a comprehensive, chronologically and systematically structured point of view on the issue. This thesis can help the professional public as a quick but relatively deep informational introduction of the SEPA project in many contexts. Description is the main method used in this thesis, followed by deduction and comparative analysis. The first part focuses on the history of development of non-cash payments using the description. Next, the project SEPA describes the procedure from proposal to partial implementation. The third part focuses on the view of the significant bank systems used in the EU, their present situation and prediction of their evolution. In the analytical part of this work is a unique look through the comparative analysis of the impacts of this project by the transnational software giant Oracle versus PricewaterhauseCoopers as a multinational audit company belonging to the so-called "Big four". The final part summarizes benefits and impacts of the project for individual segments of users and providers of the payment services in the EU.
