Object as an integral part of the rehearsing process

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na reflexi inscenačních postupů zapojujících scénický objekt do procesu tvorby. V první části práce autorka hledá vhodnou definici scénického objektu, jehož funkce se pohybuje mezi loutkou a rekvizitou. Definuje klíčové pojmy, s nimiž bude pracovat v druhé části práce, a obecně se zaměřuje na proces zkoušení a metodologii zkoušení, kterou ve své dosavadní praxi uplatnila. V druhé části diplomové práci autorka reflektuje hledání scénografického klíče při zkoušení dvou inscenací, které vznikly pod jejím vedením. Jedná se o autorskou inscenaci Už brzy dozpívám, kterou nastudovala se souborem „Zdividla“, a o inscenaci současného rumunského textu Papírová letadla, který byl nazkoušen se souborem „Bandajá“. Autorka pojmenovává styčné plochy při tvorbě obou tematicky i strukturálně odlišných inscenací právě proto, že v nich využila podobnou metodu zkoušení stavící na práci se scénickým objektem. Metodu zkoušení autorka předestírá v širších souvislostech, aby představila proces tvorby obecně jako oblast lidského bádání, které není pevně uchopeno a nachází východiska v různých inspiračních zdrojích. Součástí obou inscenací byl objekt, který tvořil jeden z výrazných jevištních komponentů při výstavbě jevištních obrazů. Diplomová práce zahrnuje nejen obecnou definici objektu, reflexi procesu zkoušení, ale i definování objektu (nikoliv rekvizity, ani loutky) jakožto podstatného jevištního komponentu přítomného při procesu zkoušení s neprofesionálními herci. Cílem diplomové práce je pojmenovat výsledný tvar jevištního díla, který vznikl a který stojí na pomezí činoherního a loutkového divadla.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the reflection of staging procedures involving a stage object in the creative process. In the first part of the thesis, the author tries to find a suitable definition of a scenic object, which function is between a puppet and a prop. She defines the key concepts that will be used in the second part of the thesis and generally focuses on the rehearsing process and methodology, which she has applied in her previous practice. In the second part of the diploma thesis, the author reflects on a searching for a scenographic key during rehearsals of two productions created under her direction. The first author's project Už brzy dozpívám, which she rehearsed with the ensemble "Zdividla," and the second one – a contemporary Romanian script, Papírová letadla, which was rehearsed with the ensemble "Bandajá". The author points out the contact surfaces in the creating process of both thematically and structurally different productions precisely because she used a similar method of rehearsing based on work with a scenic object. The author presents the method of rehearsing in a broader context in order to present the process of creation in general as an area of human research, which is not firmly defined and finds starting points in various inspiring sources. Part of both productions was the object, which was one of the distinctive stage components in the construction of the set design. The diploma thesis includes not only a general definition of the object, reflection on the rehearsal process, but also the definition of the object (neither props nor puppets) as an essential stage component present in the rehearsing process with non-professional actors. The aim of the diploma thesis is to define the final form of a stage piece, which was created and which stands on the border of drama and puppet theater.
