Cílem bakalářské práce je charakterizovat karcinom pankreatu, jeho výskyt a možnosti prevence. Je psána formou literární rešerše. Stručně je popsána anatomie a fyziologie slinivky břišní. Zabývá se typy a stádii karcinomu pankreatu, diagnostikou a možnostmi léčby. Sleduje epidemiologické charakteristiky, incidenci a mortalitu. The aim of the bachelor thesis is characteristics of pancreatic carcinoma, occurrence and possibilities of prevention. It is written in the form of literary research. The anatomy and physiology of the pancreas is briefly described. It deals with the types and stages of pancreatic cancer, diagnosis and treatment options.
