The physical principle of stenopeic opening and its use in ophtalmology

Abstract:

Součástí ukončení magisterského studia je diplomová práce, která se skládá z části teoretické a výzkumné. V tomto případě je hlavním tématem stenopeický otvor. Je zde popsán nejen z fyzikálního hlediska, ale i oftalmologického. Na toto téma v našich zemích dosud nebyla vypracována žádná komplexní práce. Mělo by se tedy jednat o souhrn informací týkajících se této pomůcky a jejího užití. V začátcích diplomové práce je popsán rozdíl mezi stenopeickou štěrbinou, otvorem a clonou. Dále je zde pojednáno o fyzikálním principu, kde je popsána i camera obscura. V krátkosti tu je zmínka o refrakčních vadách. Obsáhlejší kapitolou pak je oční patologie ve spojení s užitím tohoto otvoru. Je zde pomyšleno i na užití v kontaktologii. Ve výzkumné části jsou stanoveny hypotézy a popsán postup měření u vyšetřovaných osob. Jsou tam uvedená statistická data a jejich zpracování v grafech. Závěrem je shrnutí hypotéz a jejich vyhodnocení.

Abstract:

A part of the magisterate studies is a thesis, which consists of a theoretical part and a research part. In this case, the main theme is the stenopeic opening (pinhole). It is described from the fyzical point of view but also the oftamologic. No such complex work has ever been written before in the Czech Republic. Therefore it should be a summary of data relevant to this tool and its usage. In the beginning of this thesis we describe the differences between the stenopeic openinng, the slot and the shutter. Later on we also deal with the physical axiom where the camera obscura is described in detail as well. Briefly, the refractorial errors are also mentioned. The chapter dealing with the optic patology in connection with the usage of this opening is more extensive. The usage in contactology is taken in mind as well. The hypothesis and the detailed procedure of measuring the investigated patients are stated in the research part. Statistic data and their elaboration in graphs are listed there too. The conclusion is an outline of the hypothesis and their evaluation.
