Efekty čínských investic na socio-ekonomický rozvoj v Nigérii

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dopady čínských investic na socio-ekonomický rozvoj Nigérie. Výzkumným problémem této práce je pochopit a prozkoumat, jak tři hlavní proměnné – vzdělání, zaměstnanost a vnímání Číny v Nigérii ovlivňují socioekonomický vývoj této země. Zkoumá zejména čínské investice, iniciativy a vzájemné pohledy na tuto problematiku. Nejprve, v rámci literární rešerše, práce podává historické pozadí afro- čínských a čínsko-nigerijských vztahů a počátků ekonomické spolupráce. Dále jsou pokryty a diskutovány přímé zahraniční investice a také iniciativa nové Hedvábné Stezky. Rovněž se snaží prozkoumat vztahy mezi oběma zeměmi a hlavní oblasti atraktivity a investic Nigérie. V praktické části se práce zabývá ekonomickým a sociologickým aspektem pomocí tří zmíněných proměnných. Praktická část analyzuje tyto proměnné pomocí deskriptivní analýzy a dalších statistických nástrojů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis seeks to analyze the effects of the Chinese investments on the socio- economic development of Nigeria. The research problem of this thesis is to understand and to investigate how the three main variables education, employment, and the perception of China in Nigeria affect the socio-economic development in Nigeria. In particular, it examines the Chinese investments, initiatives and mutual viewpoints on this problematic. Firstly, as part of the literature review, the thesis gives a historical background of the Afro- Chinese and Sino-Nigerian relationship and the beginning of the economic cooperation. Secondly, Foreign Direct Investment is covered and discussed, as well as the Belt and Road Initiative. Furthermore, it seeks to examine the relationships between the two countries and the main areas of attractiveness and investment of Nigeria. In the practical part, the thesis discusses the economic and sociological aspect using the three mentioned variables. The practical part analyzes these variables using descriptive analysis and other statistical tools.
