Předkládaná práce se zabývá tématem suburbanizace v zázemí města Zlína s důrazem na rezidenční složku. Jejím hlavním cílem je vymezení konkrétních obcí, které tvoří suburbanizační zázemí Zlína. Práce nejprve teoreticky pojednává o termínu suburbanizace v obecném pojetí i v různých regionálních měřítkách. Submitted thesis deals with the topic of suburbanization in the hinterland of Zlín town with emphasis on its residential part. Its main goal is to define individual municipalities comprising the suburban zone of Zlín.
