The development of bicycle transportation in region of České Budějovice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na cyklistickou dopravu v Českých Budějovicích. Cílem práce je zhodnocení současného stavu a analýza budoucího rozvoje cyklistické dopravy v Českých Budějovicích a v jeho okolí. Součástí práce je zpracování rozsáhlého dotazníkového průzkumu a navržení řešení zjištěných nedostatků. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, teoreticko – metodologické a aplikační. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou cyklistické dopravy a pojmy, které s ní souvisí, jako např. druhy cyklistických tras nebo parkovací infrastruktura. V teoretické části je stručně objasněna i SWOT analýza, která bude následně použita v aplikační části. Ta se zabývá charakteristikou města České Budějovice, kde je stručně popsaná historie a současnost města. Jako další je analýza současného stavu cyklistické infrastruktury, kde je zhodnocen současný stav cyklistické dopravy ve městě. Jsou zde uvedeny veškeré cyklostezky, které jsou na území města a to jak současné, tak ty které se plánují. Následuje SWOT analýza a závěr je věnován nejdůležitější části a to dotazníkovému šetření. Na základě vyhodnocení otázek z dotazníkového šetření jsou potvrzeny nebo vyvráceny výzkumné otázky a na základě všech vyhodnocených analýz jsou doporučena vhodná opatření, která by měla prospět cyklistické dopravě a jejímu rozvoji.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focused on cycling in České Budějovice. The goal is assess the current status and analyze the future development of cycling in the České Budějovice and in its surroundings. The work involves processing of an extensive survey and propose solutions to identified deficiencies. The work consists of two parts, theoretical - methodological and application part. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of cycling and terms associated with it, such as. kinds of bicycle routes and parking infrastructure. In the theoretical part is shortly explained SWOT analysis, which will be used in the application part. It deals with the characteristics of České Budějovice, where the is shortly described the history and present of the city. Further analysis of the current state of cycling infrastructure, where the assessed the current state of cycling in the city. They are presented here all bicycle paths that are in the city, both existing and those which are planned. Next is the SWOT analysis and the conclusion is devoted to the most important part a questionnaire survey. Based on the evaluation questions from the questionnaire are confirmed or refuted research questions and evaluated on the basis of analyzes are recommended appropriate measures, which should be benefit cycling and its development.
