Diplomová práce se věnuje českým a slovenským veřejným knihovnám, sleduje jejich historii a systémy veřejného knihovnictví. Master’s thesis focuses on Czech and Slovak public libraries, history and system of public libraries in both countries. It describes preferred fields of development and methods measuring the performance and effectiveness of public libraries, especially benchmarking method.
