Investing of a small investor

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje možnosti investování na českém finančním trhu. Práce se zaměřuje na instrumenty vhodné pro drobného investora s kapitálem do 50 tisíc korun. Téma je aktuální díky hospodářské konjunktuře a zvětšování objemu kapitálu v držení domácností, ale také kvůli nepříliš úspěšným pokusům o důchodovou reformu ze strany státu. Investice slouží ke zvětšování peněžní zásoby jednotlivce. Především středně- a dlouhodobé investice zajišťují uspokojivé příjmy v budoucnu. Práce popisuje široké spektrum finančních instrumentů rozdělených podle výnosu, rizika a likvidity. Samostatná podkapitola je věnována riziku inflace. Obsahem jsou rovněž doporučení pro sestavení vhodného portfolia na základě osobní investiční strategie každého investora. Přínosem této závěrečné práce je analýza českého trhu peer-to-peer půjček a porovnání jednoho z největších poskytovatelů Zonky s konkurenčními službami. Poslední kapitola se v závěru věnuje také peer-to-business investování.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis analyses the investment options on the Czech financial market. The thesis focuses on instruments suitable for a small investor with a capital of up to 50 thousand crowns. What makes the topic interesting is the economic boom and the increase in the volume of capital held by households, but also the unsuccessful state pension reform attempts. Investments are used to increase the individual's money supply. Especially medium-term and long-term investments ensure a satisfactory future income. The thesis describes a wide range of financial instruments, broken down by yield, risk and liquidity. The separate subchapter deals with the risk of inflation. We include also appropriate portfolio recommendations based on investor's personal investment strategy. The contribution of this final thesis consists in the analysis of the Czech peer-to-peer market and the comparison of Zonky, one of the largest providers, with competitive services; the last chapter then is dedicated to peer business investment.
