Cílem této práce je odpovědět na otázku, zda se EU přiblížila ke konceptu 'civilní mocnosti' v post-konfliktní zásahu v Bosně a Hercegovině v letech 2004-2010. V práci jsou analyzovány zejména nástroje EU a mise EUFOR Althea a EUPM. Nejprve je představen samotný koncept 'civilní mocnosti' vytvořený politologem W. The main question of this thesis is whether the European Union behaved as a 'civilian power' in the post-conflict intervention into Bosnia and Hercegovnia between the years 2004 and 2010. First, the paper will introduce the main concept articulated by Hanns. W. Maull. Following this, an analysis of the EU as a 'civilian power' is produced, as well as EUFOR Althea and EUPM analysis.
