Teacher attitudes towards pupils with specific learning disabilities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o specifických poruchách učení u žáka na středním odborném učilišti. Je zaměřena především na postoj učitelů k žákům se specifickými poruchami učení s vadou řeči a dále formulováno na konkrétního žáka. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Cílem teoretické části bakalářské práce je definovat základní specifické poruchy učení, etiologie a diagnostika. Dále popisuje vzdělávání žáků se specifickými poruchami učení, jejich reedukaci, legislativu, pedagogicko-psychologické poradny, na konkrétní poruchy vývoje vad řeči, logopedii a logopedickou prevenci. Metody použité pro zpracování teoretické části je studium odborných literárních zdrojů, posléze jejich analýza, srovnání a syntéza. V praktické části bakalářské práce je hlavním cílem zjistit postoj učitelů k žákům se specifickými poruchami učení. Bude použit kvalitativní výzkum. V tomto průzkumu se bude opírat o konkrétní případovou studii. Nástrojem sběru dat tvoří polo-strukturované rozhovory navrženy pro účel průzkumu. Respondenty budou dva učitelé teoretického a dva odborného vyučování na středním odborném učilišti. Analýza dat je zpracována pomocí otevřeného kódování a následnou kategorizací.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with specific learning disorders of pupils at secondary vocational schools. It focuses primarily on the attitudes of teachers to pupils with specific speech impairments and is further formulated for a particular pupil. The thesis is divided into two parts. The aim of the theoretical section of this bachelor thesis is to define basic specific learning disorders, etiology and diagnostics. It also describes the education of pupils with specific learning disabilities, their re-education, legislation, pedagogicalpsychological counseling, specific speech defects, logopaedics and logopedic prevention. The methods used for processing the theoretical section are the study of professional literary sources, their analysis, comparison and synthesis. The main objective in the practical part of the bachelor thesis is to determine the attitude of teachers towards pupils with specific learning disabilities. Qualitative research will be used. This survey will be based on a case study. The data collection tool consists of semistructured interviews designed for the purpose of exploration. Respondents will be two theoretical and two vocational teachers at a secondary vocational school. Data analysis is processed by using open coding and subsequent categorization.
