Restoration of the Cínov peat bog of the selected section

Abstract:

Tato práce obsahuje informace o zájmové oblasti ohledně klimatu, geologických, hydrologických a dalších podmínek. Dozvíme se také o jedinečné flóře a fauně rašelinišť, o chráněném druhu tetřívka obecného, o projekt TetraoVit. Dále v práci nalezneme informace o chráněném ložiskovém území, o lokalitách NATURY 2000 a jiných chráněných území. Zabýváme se zde charakteristickými znaky pro rašeliniště, jejich vývojem, vznikem a funkcí, typy rašelinišť, vnitřní stavbou a také jejich lokalizací v České republice. Je zde popsáno chemické složení povrchové a podzemní vody v rašeliništi a současný stav a funkce melioračních kanálů. V praktické části se dozvíme o mapování průběhu odvodňovacích kanálů, vyhotovení vrtů na podzemní vodu a stavbě příčných profilů na potocích a kanálech. Výsledky monitoringu znečištění povrchové a podzemní vody jsou zpracovány do tabulek a grafů. Obsahem této práce je také historický popis vzniku odvodňovacích kanálů a výsledky provedeného mapování všech kanálů v zájmovém území. A v neposlední řadě je v textu popsán návrh na revitalizaci konkrétní lokality Cínoveckého rašeliniště.

Abstract:

This thesis contains information about the area of interest about climate, geological and hydrological and other conditions. We will also read about the unique flora and fauna of peat bogs, the protected species of black grouse, which the TetraoVit project deals with, as well as information about the protected deposit area, NATURA 2000 and other protected areas. We deal with characteristics of peat bogs, their development, origin and function, we find types of peat bogs, internal construction and their localization in the Czech Republic. There are described the effects of various substances on the chemical composition and behaviour of peat bogs and how they influence them in different ways. In the practical part we will read about the mapping of drainage channels, production of boreholes and construction of profiles for determination of groundwater and surfacewater chemical status and these results are accompanied by graphs. The content of this thesis is also described the way of making drainage channels in history and today and specifically channels in the area of interest. Last but not least, the text describes a proposal for revitalization of a specific locality of the peat bog.
