Tato bakalářská práce je psána za účelem analýzy společnosti O2 Czech Republic a.s. Práce má dvě hlavní části: přehled literatury a praktickou část. V první části jsou zmíněny obecné informace o účetnictví a financování, poznatky o telekomunikacích a trhu, na kterém společnost O2 Czech Republic a.s. působí, zejména se zaměřením na telekomunikační odvětví. Hlavní část práce tvoří praktická část. K posouzení finanční situace a výkonnosti společnosti O2 Czech Republic a.s. a ke zpracování praktické části práce bude použita vertikální a horizontální analýza a poměrová analýza účetních výkazů. V souladu s tím budou uvedeny výsledky a diskuse navazující na hodnocení finanční pozice a finanční výkonnosti, které pomohou analyzovat nejvýznamnější faktory ovlivňující zisk a případné finanční problémy.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is written to analyze O2 Czech Republic a.s. The thesis has two main sections: the literature review and the practical section. In the first part, general information about accounting and financing is mentioned, as well as knowledge of telecommunication and the market in which O2 Czech Republic a.s. operates, especially focusing on the telecommunications industry. The main part of the thesis is the practical section. Vertical and horizontal analysis and ratio analysis of the financial statements will be used to assess the financial position and performance of O2 Czech Republic a.s. and to prepare the practical part of the thesis. Accordingly, the results and discussion follow the evaluation of the financial position and financial performance will be given, which helps to analyze the most significant factors influencing the profit and potential financial problems.
