The resilience of Drop-in centre staff in Sdružení Podané ruce against stress situations in their workplace

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá charakteristikami resilience, které vykazují pracovníci kontaktních center Sdružení Podané ruce v zátěžových situacích na jejich pracovišti. Hlavním cílem kontaktních center je zlepšení kvality života uživatelů nealkoholových drog po stránce psychické, fyzické a sociální. Autorka využila kvalitativní strategii výzkumu. Výzkum je založen na polostrukturovaných rozhovorech s pracovníky a vedoucími kontaktních center Sdružení Podané ruce, které byly doplněny o záznamy na škálách míry zátěže a spokojenosti s vlastním řešením situace. Účastníci vyplňovali před začátkem rozhovoru krátký dotazník o sobě a svém pracovišti. Empirická část je zaměřena na zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky, která zní: Jaké charakteristiky resilience vykazují pracovníci kontaktních center Sdružení Podané ruce v zátěžových situacích na jejich pracovišti? Autorka se domnívá, že pracovníci jsou schopni řešit zátěžové situace prostřednictvím využívání vlastních schopností a dovedností. Přesto většina z nich cítí větší jistotu v případě, že je s nimi v dané situaci kolega nebo vedoucí, od kterého čekají podporu.

Abstract:

The thesis illustrates the characteristics of resilience, which Drop-in centre staff in Sdružení Podané ruce shows in stress situations in their workplaces. The main aim of Drop-in centres is to improve the quality of life of non-alcoholic drug users at their mental, physical and social level. The author used a qualitative research strategy. The research is based on semi-structured interviews with workers and managers of Drop-in centres in Sdružení Podané ruce, which were supplemented by notes on scales of stress level and satisfaction with their own solutions to the situations. The participants filled a short questionnaire about themselves and their workplace before each interview. The empirical part is focused on answering the following main research question: What characteristics of reselience does the Drop-in centre staff in Sdružení Podané ruce show in stress situations in their workplaces? The author believes that employees are able to solve stress situations by using of their abilities and skills. Most of them feel more confident if their colleagues and managers are there to help and support them.
