The influence of "kinesio tape" on the reaction time of upper limbs of street hockey players

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vliv kinesio tapu na reakční dobu horní končetiny. Ta byla testována pomocí jednoduchého pohybu, kterým byl úder. Porovnávali jsme reakční časy a realizační rychlost v rámci tří metod využití kinesio tapu s přepětím, bez přepětí a bez aplikace kinesio tapu. Práce obsahuje historii, vlastnosti a způsoby využití kinesio tapingu. Dále je uvedena charakteristika motorických schopností a obecné poznatky o svalech. Výsledky byly získány pomocí přesného laboratorního měření založeného na vizuální stimulaci.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the influence of the kinesiotape on the reaction time of the upper limb. The reaction time was tested using a simple movement, the stroke. We compared the reaction time and time of movement of three methods application of kinesiotape with overtightening, application of kinesiotape without overtightening and without application of kinesiotape. The thesis covers the history, characteristics and different ways to use the kinesiotape. Furthermore, the thesis covers the characteristic of motoric abilities and common knowledge about muscles. The results were collected using accurate laboratory measuring which was based on the visual stimulation.
