The Design of Control Unit for Ball on Plate with Capture Camera

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vytvořením řídící části pro stávající regulační přípravek "kulička na ploše" včetně implementace řídícího programového vybavení pro mikroprocesor. Pro tyto účely byla navržena řídící deska s mikroprocesorem STM32-F4, který spolupracuje s obrazovým senzorem a také s prvky pro ovládání krokových motorů. Řešená problematika se zabývá zpracováním získané vizuální informace k regulaci roviny, na které je umístěná kulička. Snahou práce je udržet kuličku v určité pozici, poloze na rovině pomocí navrženého hardwaru, bez použití počítače. Důležitou částí realizace je volba principu vyhodnocování polohy kuličky na ploše. Pro tyto účely byla zvolena metoda optického rozpoznání s kamerovým snímačem polohy (optické snímání polohy). Hardware se může, do určité míry chovat jako autonomní systém a nahradit počítač.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the creation of control for existing regulatory tooling "bullet on the plane" including the implementation of control software for microprocessor. For these purposes was designed control panel with microprocessor-STM32 F4, which cooperates with the image sensor and also with controls for stepper motors. The topic deals with processing visual information obtained to control the plane on which the ball is placed. The aim of this work is to keep the ball in a certain position, the position of the plane by using the suggested hardware without using a computer. An important part of the implementation of the principle of choice is the evaluation of ball position on the plane. For these purposes, the chosen method of optical detection of the position of the camera sensor (optical position sensing). Hardware may extent act as an autonomous system and replace the computer.
