Evaluation of services and current accounts quality of key banks in the Ústí region

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřená na zhodnocení kvality služeb a běžných účtů, jejich porovnání a identifikaci nedostatků mezi klíčovými bankami Ústeckého kraje. V současné době dochází k přechodu klientů z velkých bank do nových, moderních bank. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou a funkcí bank, bankovním sektorem a jeho historií. Dále pak běžnými účty, jejich porovnáním v rámci klíčových bank a moderními trendy, které lákají klienty. Praktická část se skládá ze dvou hlavních sekcí. První sekcí je dotazníkové šetření mezi bankovními klienty zjišťující jejich profil, preference a spokojenost s bankou a běžným účtem. Druhou částí je mystery shopping mezi pobočkami klíčových bank v Ústeckém kraji. Po získání potřebných informací byly použity modely spokojenosti, net promoter score, korelační analýza a formuláře mystery shoppingu k poskytnutí souhrnu a detailního náhledu na danou problematiku.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of services and current accounts, its comparison and identification of failures within key banks in Ústí region. There are two main parts to this thesis. The theoretical part deals with bank characteristics and functions, the banking sector and its history. Current accounts, their comparison among key banks and modern trends are also described within this part. The practical part of this thesis consists of two main sections. The first section consists of surveying bank clients to understand their profiles, preferences and satisfaction with the bank and current accounts. The second section involves mystery shopping within branches of key banks within the Ústí region by using the alter ego of a mystery shopper. After gaining the information needed, the models of satisfaction, net promoter score, correlation analysis and mystery shopping questionnaire are used to provide a summary and a detailed view of the issue.
