Didactic game - Axis and centre symmetry

Abstract:

The submitted final thesis will focus on the creation and implementation of interactive games for teaching symmetry at the secondary level of primary school. Student will be provided with an engaging and effective means of understand and practice the concepts of axial and central symmetry. The theoretical section will deal with the classification of games and the importance of didactic games in education, principles for teaching symmetry in mathematics, and the role of games in the development of geometric thinking among students. The practical section will include descriptions and progress of five didactic games, along with evaluations based on observations and feedback from students.

Abstract:

Predložená záverečná práca bude zameraná na vytvorenie a implementáciu interaktívnych hier vo výučbe súmernosti na 2. stupni základnej školy. Žiakom bude poskytnutý zábavný a efektívny spôsob, ako porozumieť a precvičiť pojmy osovej a stredovej súmernosti. Teoretická časť sa bude zaoberá klasifikáciou hier a významom didaktických hier vo vzdelávaní, princípmi výučby súmernosti v matematike a rolou hier v rozvoji geometrického myslela u žiakov. Praktická časť záverečnej práce bude zahrnutý popis a priebeh 5 didaktických hier a hodnotenie niektorých hier na základe pozorovania a spätnej väzby od žiakov.
