Wayfinding System of the Brothers Hospitallers Hospital

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce "Orientační systém Nemocnice Milosrdných bratří v Brně" má za cíl analyzovat současný orientační systém této organizace, zjistit, jestli je orientační systém nápomocen při orientaci a hledání jednotlivých oddělení a případně zjistit, jaké jsou jeho nedostatky. Část teoretická je zaměřená na specifikaci marketingu služeb a jeho základních pojmů. Dále se více zaměřuje na Firemní identitu, včetně všech jejích částí a podrobně rozebírá firemní design, kde je popsána orientační grafika jako součást orientačního systému. Na konci teoretické části jsou uvedeny metody výzkumu, které jsou použity k dosažení cíle. V úvodu praktické části je představena Nemocnice Milosrdných bratří Brno a její firemní identita, včetně současného orientačního systému. Následně je pomocí eye trackingového šetření analyzován orientační systém nemocnice a pro doplnění je využit polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Na závěr jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky výzkumu a je poskytnuto doporučení pro zlepšení orientačního systému.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis, "The Wayfinding System of Hospital of Hospitaller Brothers in Brno" is to analyze the current wayfinding system of this organization, to find out whether it is helpful in orientation and searching for individual departments, and to find out what are its shortcomings. The theoretical part is focused on the specification of service marketing and its basic concepts. Then it focuses more on Corporate Identity, including all its parts and discusses in detail the corporate design. The orientation graphics as part of the orientation system is described as a part of the wayfinding system. At the end of the theoretical part, the research methods used to achieve the goal are presented. In the introduction to the practical part, Hospital of Hospitaller Brothers in Brno and its corporate identity are introduced including the current orientation system. Subsequently, the wayfinding system of the hospital is analyzed using an eye-tracking survey, and a semi-structured interview is used to complement it. Finally, the research results are evaluated, and recommendations for improving the wayfinding system are provided.
