Film tourism in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce s názvem „Filmový cestovní ruch“ je představení této prozatím méně známé oblasti cestovního ruchu a následné prozkoumání, zdali o ni existuje zájem mezi širokou veřejností. První část práce se zabývá metodikou práce a použitými zdroji, v druhé kapitole je pak prostor pro představení filmu jako takového. Následná třetí část je věnována definici filmového cestovního ruchu spolu s jeho významem v rámci České republiky. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsou představeny zajímavé filmové lokality a filmové festivaly. Poslední část se pak týká výsledků dotazníkového šetření a následného doporučení vyplývajícího ze získaných dat.

Abstract:

The Bachelor Thesis deals with the topic “Film Tourism“, which has been a lesser – known area of tourism so far. The main goal of this thesis is to present the new touristic sphere and analyse public interest in this subject. The first part of the thesis concentrates on the methodology and used resources. In the second chapter there is some space for presenting movies. The third part focuses on the definition and importance of film tourism in the Czech Republic, in the following chapter there is an introduction of interesting places for filming and film festivals. The final part of the thesis deals with results of the questionnaire and recommendation resulting from the acquired data.
