Effect sects and Psychological manipulation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou sekt a psychické manipulace. První část se zabývá teoretickou rovinou tohoto tématu. Definuje pojem sekta, vymezuje její charakteristické rysy. Rozebírá některé důvody, které vedou ke vstupu do sekty, problematiku odchodu a jeho možné následky. Poukazuje, jakým způsobem získávají své potencionální členy, a poukazuje na nebezpečí, jaké na lidi od těchto skupin číhá. Druhá část bakalářské práce je praktická a týká se pedagogického průzkumu. Jeho hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, zdali se respondenti setkali se sektou a sektáři, zda považují sekty za nebezpečné a jaké mezi ně patří. V této části jsou vysloveny hypotézy průzkumu, popsány použité metody, charakteristika respondentů, výsledky průzkumu a jejích zhodnocení vzhledem k stanoveným hypotézám.

Abstract:

This graduation theses refers to problems of sects and psychological pressure. The first part of the theses goes into the theory of the subject matter. It defines the term ?sect? and specifies its characteristics. This part also analyses motives for joining the sect, its consequences and possible difficulties what go hand in hand when someone intends to leave the sect. Herewith the first part points out to methods of the recruitment and risks which the sect brings. The second part of the theses is practical and has been done in the form of a pedagogical survey. The main aim of the survey was to find out, if respondents have ever met up a sect and its members, if they consider sectarianism dangerous and what sects they know. Subsequently the theses comes with its assigned outcomes, describes to applied methods and characteristics of respondents. The conclusion presents the achieved outcomes and evaluates them.
