Estimating potential output: DSGE approach
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá odhadem potenciálního produktu a mezery výstupu české ekonomiky. Za tímto účelem je v práci představen a odhadnut jednoduchý dynamický model všeobecné rovnováhy, kde je potenciální produkt definována jako výstup, který by ekonomika dosáhla při absenci nominálních rigidit. Odhad je proveden pomocí bayesiánských metod.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with estimating potential output and output gap of the Czech economy. The thesis introduces and estimates a simple dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model, where the potential output is defined as the output the economy would have if there were no nominal rigidities. It is estimated by using Bayesian methods.
