Abstract:

Diplomová práce obsahuje praktickou a teoretickou část. Praktická část prezentuje komplexní restaurátorský zásah na sádrové plastice Havíře ze sbírek Českého muzea stříbra v Kutné Hoře. Tato část je vypracována jako restaurátorská zpráva obsahující popis památky, její stav, podrobný průzkum, koncepci restaurování a samotný zásah doprovázený fotografickou a grafickou dokumentací. Teoretická část je rozdělena na dva celky. V teoretické rovině je formou studie literatury a pramenů předložena problematika degradace sádry a především možnosti konsolidace sádry a fixace barevné vrstvy na jejím povrchu. Druhá část je založena na experimentálním testování vybraných prostředků pro konsolidaci sádry a fixaci barevné vrstvy. Na základě této studie byly vybrány prostředky pro aplikaci na restaurovaném objektu.

Abstract:

This thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and a practical one. The practical part presents complex restoration treatment on a plaster cast depicting a miner. The cast was provided by the Czech Museum of Silver in Kutná Hora. The practical part is written as a restoration report containing description of the cast, its condition, detailed restoration research, conception, and the treatment itself with photographical and graphical documentation. The theoretical part is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the issue of the plaster degradation with knowledge based on specialized literature. The first part is especially focused specially on plaster consolidation and a possible fixation of a paint layer on its surface. The second part is based on an experimental testing of selected materials used for plaster consolidation and paint layer fixation. The choice of materials used on the restoration is based on the outcome of the experimental study.
