Analysis of Economic Growth in Czech Republic

Abstract:

Již deset let je Česká republika členem Evropské unie. Za tuto dobu zažila jak vzestupy ekonomiky, tak stagnaci i recesi. Celkově je toto období z hlediska ekonomického vývoje možné považovat, až na rok 2009, kdy došlo vlivem světové krize k prudkému propadu, za dekádu průměrně využitých příležitostí. Hlavním ukazatelem, kterým tento vývoj měříme, je HDP. Je současně jedním z důležitých kritérií poměřování výkonu naší ekonomiky s nejvyspělejšími státy EU. Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnocení ekonomiky ČR v poslední dekádě 2004-2014. Při tom posoudit roli nejdůležitějších faktorů vývoje ekonomiky ČR, tj. exportu, domácí spotřeby a zejména přímých zahraničních investic. Neméně významnou roli v ekonomice ČR sehrálo členství v ekonomické unii a poskytované unijní dotace. Srovnání vývoje v ČR v této dekádě s úrovní vývoje dalších členských zemí v EU by mělo inspirovat k využívání dobrých zkušeností zejména vyspělých států EU ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti celkové úrovni ekonomiky ČR, a tím ke zvýšení životního standardu obyvatelstva ČR. Proto by měla být podpora exportu a přímé zahraniční investice, ale i růst domácí spotřeby, prioritou všech vlád ČR. To dokazují též zkušenosti z různých úspěšných, a méně úspěšných ekonomických politik, uplatňovaných vládami ČR v této hodnocené dekádě 2004-2014.

Abstract:

It has been 10 years since Czech Republic became a member of Europe Union. In those 10 years Czech economy experienced growth, stagnation and recession also. Overall this period we can see from economical point of view as a decade of average exploited opportunities except 2009 when due to world financial crisis followed deep drop. Main indicator which we are measuring this progress is GDP. It is also one of the main indicators of comparing to the most advanced economies within Europe Union. The aim of the diplom work is to valorice the development of the czech economic in the last decade 2004-2014. And to envaluate the role of the most important factors of the development of the czech economic. That means of export, domestic consumption and especially Foreign Direct Investments. A big role in the development of the czech economic has played the membership of the Czech Republic in the European Union and the union Dotations. The comparison of the development of the Czech Republic in this decade with the development in the other countries of the EU has to inspirate the Czech Republic to use good experiences of the most advanced countries of the EU to encrease the competitivness of the czech economic and to encrease a live standard of the czech population. That is why should be support of export , foreign direct investments and also domestic consumption priority for all Czech Governments. This theory also proves our experience from past decade when some of the Czech Governments were more successful and some were less successful.
