Cílem bakalářské práce je překlad a následná analýza zvolených lékařských textů. Tyto texty pojednávají o kardiovaskulárních onemocněních o angíně pektoris a infarktu myokardu. Práce obsahuje teoretickou část, která se zabývá překladatelskými metodami a postupy, ekvivalencí v překladu, historií překladu a uvádí obecnou charakteristiku odborného stylu.
