Business ethics of financial institution

Abstract:

The present thesis is focused on business ethics financial institutions to emphasize the importance of business ethics in financial institutions and analyze processes through the application of business ethics, corporate culture, shared values, code of ethics and the concept of socially responsible behavior. The work is divided into several basic chapters. The first part is the most extensive theoretical section, which focuses on commissioning issues. Introductory chapter details characterizes the fundamental concepts used in business ethics, business culture, corporate social responsibility, the emergence of codes of ethics, function and importance of ethical codes, the content and method of application in financial institutions. The second part of this thesis analyzes tools for the application of business ethics in the concrete bank of the questionnaire survey, which was entered in the business institution CSOB, a.s. The third chapter analyzes the work of evaluation results of the analysis and draft recommendations for strengthening business ethics in a particular bank. The last chapter of the work refers to the suggestions and recommendations for practice.

Abstract:

Predkladaná bakalárska práca je zameraná na podnikateľskú etiku finančných inštitúcií s cieľom zdôrazniť význam podnikateľskej etiky vo finančných inštitúciách a analyzovať procesy uplatňovania podnikateľskej etiky prostredníctvom firemnej kultúry, zdieľaných hodnôt, etického kódexu a koncepcie spoločensky zodpovedného správania sa. Práca je rozdelená do niekoľkých základných kapitol: prvá teoretická časť predstavuje najrozsiahlejšiu časť, ktorá sa zameriava na uvedenie do problematiky. Úvodná kapitola podrobne charakterizuje základné používané pojmy v oblasti podnikateľskej etiky, podnikateľskej kultúry, spoločensky zodpovedného podnikania, vznik etických kódexov, funkciu a význam etických kódexov, ich obsah a spôsob aplikácie vo finančných inštitúciách. Druhá časť práce analyzuje nástroje uplatňovania podnikateľskej etiky v konkrétnej banke z dotazníkového prieskumu, ktorý bol zadaný v podnikateľskej inštitúcii ČSOB, a.s. Tretia kapitola práce analyzuje zhodnotenie výsledkov analýzy a návrh odporúčaní a posilnenie podnikateľskej etiky v konkrétnej banke. Posledná kapitola práce poukazujena návrhy a odporúčania pre prax.
