The specifics of the behavior of children in kindergarten showing signs of deprivation.

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám dětmi v mateřské škole, u kterých předpokládám známky jistých deprivačních projevů. Zjišťuji zde, jaké podmínky a typy deprivací se nejvíce u nás vyskytují a z jakých důvodů. Nutností je také pohlédnout na důsledky deprivační zkušenosti ve výchově a vývoji dítěte. Důležitou součástí diplomové práce je zabývání se rodinou jako takovou a její funkčností, jejími typy a také problémy, jež dnešní rodiny mohou sužovat. Nedílnou součástí mé práce, je i studie dítěte předškolního věku, zejména pak jeho potřeby, chování, vztahy a socializaci. V průzkumné části diplomové práce jsem se zaměřila na chování dětí, u nichž by mohl být předpoklad nějakého typu deprivace. Konkrétně jde pak o celkem sedm kategorií, kde pozoruji různá odvětví chování dítěte v jeho přirozeném prostředí mateřské školy, vůči kontaktu mezi cizími lidmi, mezi vrstevníky. Vyčlenila jsem také kategorie, jež se zaměřují na chování dítěte v různých situacích v průběhu dne, jako je například řízená a neřízená činnost, komunikaci a řešení konfliktů či výtvarné zaměření dítěte.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the children in kindergarten, who are expected to show certain signs of deprivation. The thesis aims to find out what conditions and types of deprivation appear the most and for what reasons. It is necessary to consider also the aftermath of a deprivation experience in the upbringing and development of a child. An important part of this thesis deals with a family as such, with its functionality, its types and the problems families nowadays have to face. This thesis focuses also on the studies of a child at the pre-school age, mainly on their needs, relations and socialisation. The practical part of this thesis analyses the behaviour of children, who are expected to have some type of deprivation. In particular it concerns seven categories in total, where different aspects of behaviour of the children in their natural environment of the kindergarten in relation to strangers and children of the same age are observed. The categories which focus on the behaviour of a child in diverse situations during the day are set aside, like for example controlled and uncontrolled activities, communication, conflict solving or the artistic focus of a child.
