Abstract:
Staphylococcus pseudintermedius is an important veterinary pathogen causing a similar problem in canine carnivores as Staphylococcus aureus in humans. The situation is particularly serious in view of the rapid spread of strains resistant to all veterinary antibiotics in recent years. Staphylococcus pseudintermedius je významný veterinární patogen způsobující u psovitých masožravců podobný problém jako Staphylococcus aureus u lidí. Situace je vážná hlavně v souvislosti s rychlým rozšířením kmenů rezistentních ke všem veterinárním antibiotikům v posledních letech.
