The City of the Sun, sources, comparations and influence

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Sluneční stát- zdroje, komparace a vliv pojednává o jednom z nejvýznamnějších děl utopického socialismu - Slunečním státě - a porovnává jej s díly jiných autorů věnujících se tomuto typu literatury. Úvodní část práce naznačuje dobu, ve které bylo nejslavnější dílo T. Campanelly napsáno. Následují tři stěžejní kapitoly, které se věnují komparacím, práce se zde zaměřuje na srovnání Campanelly s Platónem, Machiavellim a Morem.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis The City of the Sun- resources, copmaration and influence is dealing with one of the most significant work of the Utopian socialism ? The City of the Sun and compares it with works of other authors, who also dealt with the similar kind of writtings. The beginning of the essay implies time in which Campanella lived which closely relates with this problem. There are three main chapters that are speaking of comparations, the thesis is focused on comparing Campanella with Plato, Machiavelli and More.
