Commented translation of a text on linguistics from Spanish to Czech

Abstract:

The master thesis is composed of three parts. The first practical part consists in the translation of the Spanish text in the Czech language with respect to stylistic, grammatical and lexical principles of both languages. It concerns the one chapter of the second part from the book ?Las lenguas de Espa?a?written by Miguel Díez, Francisco Morales and Ángel Sabin. The second part, theoretical, focuses on the traductologic analysis structured into five chapters, which include discussion about general translation theories, stylistic, syntactic and lexical analysis of the source text, basic classification of translation procedures with concrete examples of applied translation procedures and the largest problems of translation. The third part creates a glossary of terms.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se skládá ze tří částí. První část, praktická, spočívá v překladu španělského textu do češtiny s přihlédnutím ke stylistickým, gramatickým a lexikálním pravidlům obou jazyků. Jde o překlad jedné kapitoly druhé částí knihy Las lenguas de Espa?a Miguela Díeze, Francisca Moralese a Ángela Sabina. Druhá část, teoretická, se zaměřuje na traduktologickou analýzu členěnou do pěti kapitol, které zahrnují pojednání o obecných teoriích překladu, stylistickou, syntaktickou, lexikální analýzu zdrojového textu, základní klasifikaci překladatelských postupů s ukázkami konkrétních překladatelských postupů, které byly využity, a největší problémy překladu. Třetí část představuje glosář termínů, které se vyskytují v textu.
