Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na typografii a grafiku. Práce se zaměřuje na historii písma a vývoj typografie včetně představení významných českých typografů, jako je Jiří Rathouský a František Štorm. Porovnání typů písma a jejich vhodné využitím v grafice. Základní pravidla, pojmů a důležité prvky typografie. Bakalářská práce dále vysvětluje rozdíl mezi rastrovou a vektorovou grafikou a jejich definice, programy a využití. V praktické části budou vytvořena písmena ve stylu římské kapitálky a dvě metody rasterizace. Následuje návrh vlastní ho ozdobného písma a jeho převedení do digitální podoby. Práce dále zahrnuje vytvoření dvou plakátů, jeden s využitím římské kapitálky a druhý s vlastní ozdobnou abecedou.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on typography and graphics. The thesis focuses on the history of writing and the development of typography, including the introduction of important Czech typographers such as Jiří Rathouský and František Štorm. Comparison of fonts and their appropriate use in graphics. Basic rules, concepts, and important elements of typography. The bachelor's thesis further explains the difference between raster and vector graphics and their definitions, programs and uses. In the practical part, letters in the style of Roman capitals and two methods of rasterization will be created. The following is a design of his own decorative font and its conversion into digital form. The work also includes the creation of two posters, one using Roman capitals and the other with its own decorative alphabet.
