Paleopatologie ve starověkém Egyptě a její vztah k mystice, mytologii a medicíně

Abstract:
Práce zahrnuje přehled paleopatologických výzkumů starých Egypťanů. Současně se práce zabývá problematikou vztahu patologií k mystice, mytologii a medicíně. Poukazuje na úroveň medicínských znalostí starých Egypťanů a porovnává účinnost léčebných výkonů z hlediska současné medicíny. Dále práce poukazuje na staroegyptské kořeny některých současných léčebných zákroků.
Abstract:
The work includes overview of the paleopathological surveys of the ancient Egyptians. At the same time the work deals with the interaction between pathology, mystique, mythology and medicine. It points on level of medical knowledge of ancient Egyptians and compares the efficiency of healing performances from the point of view of current medicine.
