Professional stress and drug addiction of employees in selected hospitality organizations in the Russian Federation and in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na dopad zneužívání návykových látek zaměstnanci na pracovní prostředí, produktivitu a ekonomický rozvoj pohostinských organizací. Tato práce se bude zabývat také charakteristikami odvětví cestovního ruchu v Rusku a České republice, jako je ekonomický rozvoj zemí a blahobyt obyvatelstva, rozsah drogové problematiky, rizikové a stresové faktory, které mohou být jednou z důležitých příčin zahájení užívání drog mezi zaměstnanci a rozvoje závislostního chování. Bude zkoumán dopad na jednotlivce, jeho profesní prostředí a možná řešení v podobě prevence, organizační podpory a léčby. Bakalářská práce obsahuje praktickou část, v níž bude představen dotazník, jehož cílem bylo zjistit rozsah drogové problematiky v pohostinských podnicích a také rozdíly v nejčastěji užívaných drogách. Prostřednictvím kvalitativních a hloubkových rozhovorů se zástupci zdravotnického sektoru budou rovněž formulována doporučení k řešení stávajících problémů a k vypracování preventivních opatření, která by zabránila zhoršování drogové problematiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the impact of employee substance abuse on the work environment, productivity and economic development of hospitality organizations. This thesis will also look at the characteristics of the tourism industry in Russia and the Czech Republic, such as the economic development of the countries and the well-being of the population, the extent of the drug problem, risk and stress factors that can be one of the important causes of the initiation of drug use among employees and the development of addictive behavior. The impact on the individual, their professional environment and possible solutions in the form of prevention, organizational support and treatment will be explored. The bachelor thesis includes a practical part in which a questionnaire will be conducted to find out the extent of the drug problem and the differences in the most commonly used drugs. Through qualitative and in-depth interviews with representatives of the health sector, recommendations will also be formulated to address existing problems and to develop preventive measures to prevent the drug problem from worsening.
