Bakalářská práce s názvem "Účast zemí NATO v boji proti námořním pirátům" se zabývá námořním pirátstvím při somálském pobřeží. Autor v práci popisuje příčiny vzniku pirátství v Somálsku a jeho dopady. V práci se hodnotí, zda protipirátské operace vedené členskými státy NATO v západní části Indického oceánu, konkrétně v Adenském zálivu a oblasti Afrického rohu, mají smysl a vedou k potlačení pirátství …more
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis entitled "The participation of states of NATO in the fight against maritime piracy" is dealing with maritime piracy in a region of the Horn of Africa along with Gulf of Aden. The author describes causes of a pirate development in Somalia and its impacts. The thesis evaluates antipiracy operations led by member states of NATO.
