Buněčná migrace je jedním ze základních procesů nezbytných pro správný vývoj a udržení mnohobuněčného organismu. Během embyologického vývoje se u modelového organismu, zebřičky, vyskytují tři typy buněčného pohybu. Jsou to epibolie, internalizace a konvergentní extenze. Cell migration is a central process in the development and maintenance of multicellular organisms.There are three types of cell movement during the embryonic development of a zebrafish: epiboly, internalization and convergent extension.
